SwissCapTech

SwissCapTech is a new and disruptive technology which enables large amounts of electric energy to be transmitted from a charging station to a mobile energy storage within a very short time.

Developed from the ground up, SwissCapTech is a new and disruptive technology which enables large amounts of electric energy to be transmitted from a charging station to a mobile energy storage within a very short time. For the charging station to be able to deliver, it stores all the required energy in advance. To be able to transmit electric energy very quickly, supercapacitors must be deployed, both in the charging station and in the mobile energy storage. The energy transfer is controlled by the patented SwissCapTech process, which is specially designed for supercapacitors and their properties, focusing on performance, sustainability, durability and environmental friendliness.

SwissCapTech deploys latest generation supercapacitors and not chemical batteries, as these are a burden to our environment. Mobile SwissCapTech energy storage devices with an equivalent capacity to common household rechargeable batteries are charged from nought to 100% in 6 minutes and can be used over decades without them losing their capacity.

Key elements of SwissCapTech

If electric energy has to be transmitted extremely quickly,

  • Supercapacitors must be deployed (instead of chemical batteries),
  • all of the energy has to be available where required => intermediate storage,
  • dealing with large amounts of electric energy requires a new "charging" process, specially developed with supercapacitors and this purpose in mind: SwissCapTech.
